TEKAMAH LAD WHO DROWNED, RELATED HERE

Nine-year old Monty Lund, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lund, who was drowned in the Missouri River last Sunday, was related here. He was a great grandosn of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mencke. The lad was a nephew of Robert Tichota, also of Blair.

The family had been enjoying an outing near the river when Monty stepped off into a hole while wading. The body was retrieved from 6 feet of water.
