MRS. FRANK LOFTIS BURIED NOV. 27th

Mrs. Frank Loftis passed away at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital on November 24th at the age of 81 years.

Lillian Fletcher was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Fletcher and lived in the New England district. On February 18, 1903, she was united in marriage to Frank Loftis. In 1917 they moved to Burt County. Mr. Loftis passed away on January 29, 1941.

Mrs. Loftis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Herman and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a son Wayne with whom she has resided since the death of her husband. Also a daughter, Mrs. Viola Hovendick, two grandsons and six great-grandchildren and two sisters, Alma and Birdie Fletcher of Herman. Estella Montgomery Baty of Burbank, California and Delbert Fletcher of Hayward, California made their home with Mr. and Mrs. Loftis for several years when they were children.

Funeral services were held on November 27th at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Herman. The Rev. Percy Bruns officiated.

Pallbearers were Carroll Lowe of Ralston, John Reyslik, Wm. Hart, Ted Weber, Victor Enger and Curtis Petersen of Herman.
