(veteran) Services were Friday, May 1 at Christ United Methodist Church for Earl F. Henderson. 72, Schuyler, Nebraska who died at his home April 27, 1992, Rev. Melva Tranmer officiated. Burial was in the Schuyler Cemetery with military graveside services.

He was born April 14, 1920 at Elm Creek, Nebraska to Robert and Margaret Deer Henderson. He attended Elm Creek Public and Schuyler Public Schools. He was retired heavy equipment operator.

He married Helen Roth August 6, 1949 at Wahoo.

He was a member of Eagles and American Legion. He served with the United States Army.

He moved to Schuyler from Bellwood in 1984. He owned and operated Helen’s Bar in Bellwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Vernon.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of Schuyler, one son, Thomas stationed in Germany; seven daughters, Joyce (Mrs. Gary) Navrkal of Bellwood, Sandra (Mrs. Larry) Alger of Vincennes, Indiana; Roberta (Mrs. Barry) Preston of Pasadina, Texas; Jean McPherson of Inavale, Nebraska; Judy (Mrs. John) Coe of Omaha; Patricia (Mrs. Mike) Kozisek of David City; Peggy (Mrs. Dan) Hough of Bellwood; 22 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Svoboda Funeral Home in Schuyler was in charge of arrangements.
