FORMER CALHOUN RESIDENT DIES IN AUTO ACCIDENT

Funeral services were held in Fort Calhoun last Thursday, for Mrs. Charles (Tina) Henderson, who passed away at Hot Springs, Arkansas on September 22, 1974, at the age of 75 years, 1 month, and 1 day, the victim of a car accident in which her husband was seriously injured. Sievers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Tina Suverkrubbe was born on August 21, 1899, to P. Gustav and Amanda Suverkrubbe at Pierce, Nebraska. She moved in 1901 with her parents to a farm southwest of Fort Calhoun where she grew to womanhood.

In June 1925 she was united in marriage with Raymond S. Chew of Omaha. Mr. Chew passed away in 1960. Also preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers.

She was married to Mr. Henderson in October of 1969. All of her married life was spent in Omaha, Nebraska.

Mrs. Henderson was a member of Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church and Liberty Chapter No. 273 Order of the Eastern Star.

Beside her husband, Charles, she leaves to mourn her two brothers, William A. of Fort Calhoun and George A. of Blair; two sisters, Anita (Mrs. Carl S.) Hansen and Louella (Mrs. Tage) Christensen, both of Blair; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and a host of friends.
