W. HENDRICKSEN DIED AT HOSPITAL EARLY FRIDAY

Wendell Hendricksen, a resident of Blair for many years, died at Memorial Community Hospital early Friday following a lingering illness. He had been a resident of Parkview Manor in south Blair. He was 53 years old.

The deceased was born November 11, 1917 at Royal, Iowa, but came to Blair a number of years ago to make his home. He never married. For years he was a shipping clerk for the Sidles Company in Omaha, but had given up the work because of poor health.

He is survived by a brother, Ralph Hendricksen, of Lincoln, (formerly of Blair) and by a sister, Mrs. Harry Freeburg, Jr., of Garvin, Minnesota. A step-mother, Mrs. Margaret Hendricksen, a step-brother, Stanley, Jespersen, both live at Royal, Iowa. A step-sister, Mrs. Richard Leafstore, lives at San Jose, California.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home Saturday morning at 10:00 o’clock. The body was then taken to Royal, Iowa, where another service was held and burial was made in the Willow Creek Cemetery.
