Services for Davey Henley, age 16 of Blair who died at University of Nebraska Medical Center April 27, 1992 will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 30 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Davey Joe Henley was born March 1, 1976 at Blair. He was the son of Jane Gramke Woodard and John Henley. He attended school in Blair and was a sophomore at Blair High School. He participated in many sports, including baseball, basketball, football and soccer as a freshman.

He was very active in the Peer Group and was working with a sixth grader and with a resident of a local nursing home. He was a Cub Scout.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Melvin Gramke.

He is survived by his parents, Jane and Mike Woodard, Blair and John Henley, Jackson, Mississippi; grandparents, Marjorie and Jack McElroy, Tyler, Texas; James and Kay Woodard, Blair and Vondell Burdett, Jackson, Mississippi; a brother, Dustin, a sister, Stacey Woodard, both of Blair; aunts and uncle, Dan and Barb Gramke, Kemmerer, Wyoming; James and Claudia Gramke, Houston, Texas; Mary Gramke, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, John Gramke, Texas City, Texas; Nancy and Dan Chatt, Omaha; Theresa and Terry Hulse, Riverhead, New York; Thomas and Ann Gramke, Napa, California; Ginger and Ron McBrayer, Carlsbad, California; Leo and Carla Gramke, Tekamah; Denny and Kelly Gramke, Gravois Mills, Missouri; Joseph and Nina Gramke, Phoenix, Arizona; Debra Woodard, Missouri Valley, Iowa and Rebecca Underwood, Waterloo, Nebraska; 40 cousins and many friends.

Memorials may go to Blair Little League, Blair Legion or Blair High School Sports Department.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
