Marie Henrichsen, 93, formerly of Fort Calhoun, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

Burial will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Visitation was planned Monday until 8:30 p.m. at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun.

Marie Henrichsen was born May 9, 1905, in Omaha to John and Clara Henrichsen.

She grew up in Washington County on the family farm near Fort Calhoun.She graduated from Fort Calhoun high school in 1925.

She loved flowers and gardening and caring for animals.

She was a member of Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. She was baptized there and had regularly attended adult classes.

She lived in Fort Calhoun until going to Good Shepherd Home in 1991.

She is survived by one nephew, Gene Ohrt and wife, Kathy, of Fort Calhoun; great-nieces, Amy and Lou Thomas and Jasmine, Annette and Terry Eyman; great-nephew, Adam and Keli Ohrt and Brett, Brooke and Breann; one sister, Clara Ohrt and husband, Alvin, of Fort Calhoun.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ella Abendroth and Amanda Moeller; and one brother, Arthur Henrichsen.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church or Good Shepherd Home.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
