RUTH A. LUND DIES THURSDAY MORNING, FEB. 3

Ruth A. Lund, lifelong resicent of Blair, died early Thursday morning, February 3rd. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. N.T. Lund.

Miss Lund, who was born here June 14, 1911, had worked as a secretary in Blair offices for many years. She was employed by the O'Hanlon Law Offices for several decades and was recognized for her quiet efficiency and reliability.

She is survived by two brothers and four sisters.

The brothers are Ray Lund, of Blair and Russell Lund of Harlan, Iowa.

The sisters are Mis Lona Lund with whom Ruth made her home at 922 North 25th Street, Blair; Miss Una Lund, of Los Angeles, California and Miss Dorothy Lund of San Diego, California. A fourth sister is Mrs. Norma VanSteenhoven of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Albers and Rev. John Petersen were in charge of the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemtery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Tony Hansen, R.J. Zimmerman, Jr.; Edward B. Hansen, James O. Anderson, Jr., Philip Larsen and Dr. Clifford Madsen.
