MRS. ED LAKE, 78, DIED HERE TODAY

Mrs. Ed Lake, 78-year old Blair woman, died early today (Thursday) at Memorial Community hospital. She had resided at 1325 Nebraska street.

Mrs. Lake was born August 11, 1885 in Harrison County, Iowa and came to this community a number of years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Ed; two daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. Oscar Simonson (Susan) of Blair, Mrs. John Allman (Anna) of Council Bluffs, Iowa. The sons are Harry Flynn of Omaha and Thomas Flynn of Grand Island. Mrs. Grace M. Allen and Mrs. Margaret McManigal, both of Blair are sisters of Mrs. Lake. Arthur W. Harding of Grand Island and Broy Harding of Rock Springs, Montana are brothers of the deceased.

Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Two daughters preceded Mrs. Lake in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning (the exact time had not been set by press time) at the Campbell Mortuary, Father Nolan of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church officiating with interment in Blair Cemetery
