ALICE LAMB, 91

Alice Lamb, 91, of Blair, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at her home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Blair Cemetery.

Alice Madeline Lamb was born March 25, 1908, to Ray and Mary (Kruse) Triplett, at the family farm west of Herman. She grew up in Herman and graduated from Herman High School.

In 1933, she married Everett Lamb in Herman. They moved to Blair, where she resided at the time of her death.

She worked as a seamstress at Scott Manufacturing in Omaha and as a beautician at the B & C Beauty Shop.

She was a member of the Blair VFW Auxiliary; Blair Legion Auxiliary; and the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Warren Kruse of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Linda Schow of Omaha; and Marsha Connelly of Davenport, Iowa; brother, Harold (Jack) Triplett of Tekamah; sisters, Marian Brodersen and Donna Rae Jordan of Blair; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett; brothers, Elzy, Howard and Floyd Triplett; sisters, Anna Barton and Helen Wittig.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He suffered severe internal injuries. Mr. Lang, personnel director for the Nebraska Public Power System at Columbus, was the son of Rev. N.P. Lang, who was a member of the Trinity Seminary faculty. Larry Pearson officiating. Burial was in Blair Cemetery. Harry A. Larsen was born September 19, 1902 in Omaha to Nels and Christine Petersen Larsen. He attended the Fairview, Ponca and Omaha High School of Commerce Business Schools. He worked for Ford Motor Company in Omaha for five years. Prior to that he worked for Great Plains Telephone Company in Creighton, Nebraska for 34 years. In 1994, he moved to Blair where he resided at the time of his death. He was a member of the Plainview Masonic Lodge No. 204. He married Vivian Gilliam in Blair March 11, 1931. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Vance Larsen; two step-sisters; one step-brother and a half-brother. He is survived by his wife, Vivian; a step-sister, Esther Cushman of Oregon City, Oregon; sisters-in-law, Ada Andersen of Blair and Maxine Gilliam of California; and nephews, Vinson Gilliam, Richard Jensen, Robert Jensen, Jerome Andersen, Richard Andersen and Roger Thomas and nieces, Nancy Curley and Beverly Barclay. While living in Omaha, she was employed at Mutual of Omaha; Graybar Electric Company; and Chevrolet Motor Division, a division of General Motors Corporation. From 1973-1985, she lived in Blair, Nebraska where she was employed by Simon Korshoj and Harold Wright. In 1985, she moved to Vancouver, Washington and was employed at the Portland Air National Guard Base. She and Frank L. Ross were married December 15, 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Clarice Pelan on January 1, 1993. She is survived by her husband, Frank; step-daughters, Cheryl (Mrs. Walter) Perry and Gale (Mrs. David) Donachie; five step-grandchildren, all of Vancouver; one sister, Phyllis Pabian of Schuyler, Nebraska; three brothers, Gary L. Pelan of Columbus, Nebraska, Michael Pelan of Houston, Texas, and Lynn Pelan of Oakland, Nebraska; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Larsen of 360 N 2nd Street in Arlington has been the object of fund drives and special projects to help pay some of the expenses of the medical battle. Services for Mandy Larsen will be on Tuesday, May 10th at 11 a.m. in the Arlington Congregational Church with the Rev. Bruce Hecht officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery, Bader, Rosanic and Lawson funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mandy Larsen was born February 23, 1975 at West Point. She is survived by her parents and grandparents. They are Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Larsen of Omaha and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Timm Jr of West Point. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Mabel Boyden and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Larsen of Omaha and Mrs. Albert Hofeldt of Casper, Wyoming. Pallbearers will be Jim Kuddes, Jeff Knudson, Mike Timm, and Scott Hamre. Soloist will be Mrs. LaVerne Schmidt. Organist is Mrs. Alvin Voss. A memorial fund has been set up for the Arlington Community Church.
