Services for Jane Larsen, 87 of Blair who died at Good Shepherd Home in Blair May 25 will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 28 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with burial in the Blair Cemetery.
Jane I. Larsen was born March 18, 1906 at Fordyce, Nebraska to Louis and Minnie Hineline Wise. Her family moved to the Desoto area when she was a child. She attended school in Blair, graduating from Blair High School.
She married Menno Larsen in Missouri Valley, Iowa August 7, 1925. He preceded her in death in July, 1975.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Blair Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter, Zelma (Mrs. Bill) McCann, Fremont; four sons, Norman "Max" Larsen, Blair; Robert, Milpitas, California; Harold, Modesto, California; John, Piedmont, South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Effie Thompson, Blair; Marjorie Waibel, Rochester, Minnesota; Sylvia Newton, Gastonia, North Carolina; and Louise Wilbanks, Bentonville, Arkansas; and three brothers, Walter Wise, Lisbon, North Dakota; Lee Wise, New Haven, Connecticut; and Paul Wise, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
