Services for Richard Hespen, 65 of Fremont who died January 10, 1995 at his home were Friday, January 13 at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev. Leland Uden officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.
Richard Hespen was born August 29, 1929 in Fremont where he was a lifetime resident. He was a farmer and for most of his working years he was also a self-employed floor covering installer.
He served in the National Guard. He was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church and Fremont Eagles Aerie No. 200.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; a daughter, Tammy (Mrs. Randy) Trahan of Fremont; a son, Rodney of Fremont; a brother, Dale of Fremont; two sisters, Evelyn (Mrs. Wes) Jensen of Sidney and Dolores (Mrs. Delwin) Trumbo of Blair and seven grandchildren.
A memorial has been established at the Arthritis Foundation
Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
