SERVICES HELD MONDAY FOR LEE HESTER

Services were held Monday, March 12th, for 70 year old Lee Hester, formerly of Arlington but more recently of Fremont. Mr. Hester died on March 8th in an Omaha hospital.

Funeral services were at the Fremont First Congregational Church with Dr. Alan Campbell officiating. The Bader, Rosanik, Lawson funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Hester was born in Conway, Missouri on October 11, 1908. In 1926 the family moved to the Arlington area. In 1934 Mr. Hester and Frieda Marshall were married. She died on July 23, 1968. On January 3, 1969, Mr. Hester married Fern Daniels at Fremont. His wife Fern survives him.

Also surviving is a daughter Janet Hester of Orange, California. Surviving sister is Mrs. Paul (Genevieve) Krolok of Rohmert Park, California.

There are three surviving brothers. They are: Glen Hester, Cloverdale, California, Leslie Hester, Ava, Missouri, and Carl Hester of Plymouth, Wisconsin. There are also two grandchildren.

Mr. Hester was a famer by occupation. He later was the Street and Water Commissioner at Arlington, Nebraska. He was a member of the Congregational Church and also belonged in two Square Dance Clubs. They were the Boots and Hustlers and the Starlighters Club.

Pallbearers were: Earl Bettner and Howard Hoppel, both of Fremont, Ralph Hayne, Leslie French, Walter Marten and William S. Cook all of Arlington.
