Gustav Henry Heybrock, the son of the late Frederick Heybrock and his wife, Friedericke, nee Meyers, was born November, 24, 1880. He was received into communion with the Triune God by the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on December 4, 1880, and having been instructed in the chief doctrines of the Christian religion, was received as a communicant member of the Lutheran Church by the rite of confirmation on April 7, 1895.

The departed entered the holy estate of matrimony with Mrs. Wilhelmine Grefe on April 5, 1926. This union was blessed with one son. The deceased fell asleep in Jesus on Saturday, May 31, 1947, having attained the age of 66 years, 6 months and 7 days.

The survivors are the following a son, Frederick and two step-sons, Mr. Edgar Grefe of Arlington, and Mr. Wilbur Grefe of Fremont, as well as a brother, William, of Fremont, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Goetsch of Stanton, Nebraska. His wife preceded him in death on September 26, 1940.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and 2:00 o’clock at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Carl Hellmann officiating. Interment took place in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

The following served as pallbearers: Messrs Louie Heybrock, Richard Heybrock, Reinhardt Goetsch, Martin Goetsch, and Carl Goetsch.
