James Richard Lemen age 78 of Blair, NE.

MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, October 10 11:00 a.m., St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 1734 Grant Street, Blair, NE

Luncheon following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to Kindred Hospice, Fremont, NE 68025, St. Mary's Episcopal Church or charity of your choice.

Jim passed away at the Crowell Home on September 28, 2016 after a long illness. He was born on May 15,1938 in Lincoln, NE to the late L.L.(Larry) and Una Lemen. He attended Miller Park grade school in Omaha, graduated from Omaha North High in 1956 and Omaha University in 1965.

He worked for Standard Oil in Omaha, Kansas City and Mobridge, SD.

He was the owner of the Husker Bowl in Blair from 1972-1981 with his mother. He then became the owner of Jamesway Corp. where he worked with his sons, Jim and Jeff. He worked for Mankin & Sons until he retired.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Sharen Kimball Lemen, and his children Kimberly Lemen and friend Bob George, of LaVista, NE, James (Michell) Lemen of Lindsborg KS, and Jeffrey (Lori) Lemen of Omaha. Grandchildren: Ian Lemen of Blair, Hannah Lemen of Lawrence, KS, Cory (Nichole) Flaherty of Blair, Jenny (Steve) Adams of Lindsborg, KS, and Samantha Chappelear of Omaha. Brother John (Diane) Lemen of Omaha. Nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and sister, Carolyn Lemen Rusk.
