Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Winslow for D. C. Lallman, 99 or rural Nickerson, who died at the Fremont Area Medical Center in Fremont Jan. 17, 1997. REv. Rodney Meske will officiate. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the mortuary Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
D.C. Lallman was born Aug. 29, 1897 on the same farm near Nickerson where he grew up and lived all his life. He farmed that farm until retiring in 1967 and continued to live in the same farm home until his death.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he was baptized and confirmed. He also attended the Immanuel Lutheran School.
He had served on the rural Timpe School Board as secretary for several years.
He married Ethel Boyd Nov. 11, 1923 in Fremont.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, six sisters, a grandson and his wife.
he is survived by his wife Ethel; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Helen Lallman of Peoria, Ariz., and Vernon and Donna Lallman of rural Hooper; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
