MRS. HILDA GEHRK SERVICES TUESDAY

Mrs. Henry Gehrk (Hilda) passed away on Saturday, April 4, at the McBride Nursing Home in Fremont following an illness of several months.

She was born September 10, 1887 at Kennard to Mr. and Mrs. Nels Lund. On November 12, 1919 she was married to Henry Gehrk. They lived on a farm near Kennard. Later they lived at Fremont, Nebraska and again at Kennard.

They were the parents of two children: Mrs. George Matzen (Marjorie) of Kennard and Harvey of Omaha. She is also survived by four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Jensen of Kennard; three brothers, John of Blair, Elmer Lund of Kennard and Carl Lund of Fremont. Mr. Gehrk passed away in 1944.

Mrs. Gehrk is a member of the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

Funeral services will be held at the Bendorf Funeral HOMe at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rev. Harold Laursen will officiate. Burial will be in the German Cemetery near Bennington.

Pallbearers will be Clarence Matzen, Wm. Vogt, Roscoe Anderson, Wm. Wulbern Jr., Soren Wolsmann and Harry Svogerson.
