Blair NE Sept 14 - After an illness of over a year, Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell, aged 73 years, died this evening at 7 o'clock, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W D Haller. Mrs. Maxwell was an old pioneer of this county, coming to Desoto in 1868, but of late years has made her home with Mayor Haller of this city.

After an illness of over a year, Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell, aged 73 years, died Sept. 14th at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. D. Haller. Mrs. Maxwell was an old pioneer of this county, coming to DeSoto in 1868, but of late years made her home with Mayor Haller of this city. Rev. Savage will officiate at the funeral which will be held at the house at 3 o’clock.
