The funeral of Mrs. Andrew Lund was held last Sunday afternoon at the Danish Lutheran church of Blair. Mrs. Lund, formerly of Blair, had been making her home with a son at Casper, Wyo., and passed away at that place. She had been a sufferer from cancer for a number of years until death called her home. Mrs. Will Sheets living west of Herman was a daughter of Mrs. Lund.

Mrs. Louise Lund, formerly a resident of this county, passed away at her home in Casper, Wyo., last Wednesday. February 3rd. The body was brought here and the funeral service held at the Danish Lutheran Church at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. H. Nielsen officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery by the side of her husband, whose death occurred Sept 19th, 1916. Mrs. Lund was born in Ballem, Denmark, July 28th, 1852, so was past 73 years of age. She came to this country with her parents and was married to Andrew Lund in Omaha March 7th, 1876. They came to this county to make their home, living for a number of years near Ft. Calhoun. In 1912 they bought a forty-acre tract near this city, where Mr. Lund died in 1916. They continued to make their home on the farm until 1919, when Mrs. Lund, in company with her son, Chris, moved to Casper, Wyo. She is survived by 6 children, Mrs. A. Petersen, Mrs. N.M. Jensen, Chris and Louie, all of Casper, Wyo., Mrs. A. Christensen, of Arlington, and Mrs. W. L. Sheets, of Herman, all of whom were here for the funeral service except Mrs. Jensen.
