Theodore David Bixler 67, Died suddenly early Thursday

Ted Bixler, a resident of Blair for more than 40 years, died early Thursday morning of a heart attack. He had been in failing health for more than six years. He was taken to the Blair Hospital by the Blair Rescue Squad, but was beyond assistance.

He was born April 30, 1907 at Nashville, Kansas and grew to manhood there.

On June 21, 1931 he was married to the former Lucille Feer, of Blair at Fort Dodge, Iowa and shortly after that they moved to Blair which has been their home continuously since that date. Mr. and Mrs. Bixler lived at 1055 Nebraska Street.

For a number of years he was employed by the American Road Equipment, Co. of Omaha but retired six years ago because of ill health.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille and a daughter Ellen (Mrs. Wade Morris) of Dallas, Texas. There are two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Jennie Rolland lives at Arkansas City, Kansas.

Funeral arrangements had not been made at the time The Pilot Tribune went to press. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
