Former Fort Calhoun Resident

Former Fort Calhoun resident Marjorie C. Stratbucker, 79, of Fremont, died Dec. 21, 2010 in Fremont.

Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 23, at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Marjorie C. Lamprecht was born Oct. 26, 1931, in Omaha to John and Margaretha Lamprecht.

She grew up in Waterloo, and married William E. Stratbucker on Sept. 17, 1952, in Elkhorn. The couple lived in Fort Calhoun after their marriage.

Mrs. Stratbucker is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Larsen of Fremont, Carol Wasenius of Arlington, son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Diana Stratbucker of Fort Calhoun; grandchildren: Dr. Christine Larsen, Ryan Larsen, Amy Stratbucker, Beth Stratbucker, Carly Stratbucker, Wayne Stratbucker, Tara Wasenius; brother and sister-in-law, LaVerne and Donna Lamprecht of Fremont; sisters-in-law, Betty Lamprecht of Waterloo, Irma Lamprecht of Gretna, Mildred Nixon of Blair; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill”; brothers, John and Mylan Lamprecht; special aunt, Pauline Krof.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

VISITATION Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 5:30-7:30pm at funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 10:30am at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Burial Fort Calhoun Cemetery, Fort Calhoun, NE. In lieu of flowers, Memorial to Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church or charity of choice.
