ANNA MARIE ROSENBAUM, 85, DIES AT GOOD SHEPHERD HOME IN BLAIR

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at First Lutheran Church in Blair for Mrs. Anna Marie Rosenbaum, 85, who died last Thursday at Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

The Rev. H.C. Jorgensen officiated and was assisted by the Rev. A.W. Clarke of Schuyler. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge, with burial in Blair Cemetery.

Anna Marie Olson was born at Highland, Wis., in 1864 and came to Cuming City Township in 1866. In 1888 she was married to William Thomas Rosenbaum. The couple then moved to Washington, D.C., and were living there in 1913 when Mr. Rosenbaum died. Since 1917 Mrs. Rosenbaum had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Ray Rosenbaum of Kennard, and for the last year and a half, at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Mrs. Rosenbaum in survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Grace) Rosenbaum of Kennard, a sister, Mrs. Julia Johnson of Good Shepherd Home, one grandson and a number of nieces and nephews.

MRS. MARY ROSENBAUM RITES

Mrs. Mary Rosenbaum, who was christened Anna Marie Olson, was born on December 2, 1864 at Highland, Wisconsin, and came to Cuming City township in Washington County in 1866. She was baptized in the Lutheran Church and confirmed in St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Orum.

On August 30, 1888 she was married to William Thomas Rosenbaum, the couple going to Washington, D.C. to live, where Mr. Rosenbaum passed away in 1913. Since 1917 Mrs. Rosenbaum has lived with her daughter, Grace, in Washington County, the last year and a half at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair. She passed away after a short illness at the Home on October 19.

Funeral services were held in First Lutheran church on October 21, with Rev. H. C. Jorgensen in charge, assisted by Rev. Clark of Schuyler. The Campbell Mortuary was in charge of arrangements, and burial was made in Blair cemetery.

Mrs. Rosenbaum is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ray Rosenbaum, by one sister, Mrs. Julia Johnson, by a grandson, William Rosenbaum of Gering, Nebraska, and by a number of nieces and nephews.
