Elizabeth A. “Beth” Brown, 56 years, of Arlington, Nebraska died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her home in Arlington. Elizabeth was born November 4, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles F. and Mary E. (Jablonski) Diggs.

She was born and raised in Missouri. As an adult she traveled extensively. In the summer of 1996 she made her home in Arlington. Beth married Bruce L. Brown on August 4, 2008 in Fremont, Nebraska.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, animals and listening to music. During the holidays she invited and hosted families that otherwise would have been alone.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce of Arlington; daughter, Angela Kinkead of Fremont, Nebraska; stepdaughters, Heather (Mark) Fredrickson of Zumbrota, Minnesota, and Danielle (Casey) Grivy of Arlington; stepsons, Tony (Deann) Brown of Zumbrota, Minnesota, Justin (Chelsea) Brown of Spicer, Minnesota, and Kyle Brown of Hooper, Nebraska; brothers, John (Kathy) Diggs of Eldon, Missouri and Charles “Ross” (Marian) Diggs of Plainfield, Connecticut; sisters, Mary Caplin of Arlington and Francine (Steve) Thompson of Bettendorf, Iowa; twelve grandchildren and another grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Douglas “D.J.’ Kinkead, Jr. on June 28, 2001.

Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 a.m on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Nebraska. Upon request of the family, they are asking that you wear something purple in color which symbolizes Pancreatic Cancer.

Memorials may be directed to the family for the Pancreatic Cancer Society.
