MRS. LOGEMANN, BORN IN COUNTY, BURIED SEPT. 6TH

Mrs. Elsie (Petersen) Logemann was born June 19, 1891 in Washington County. She grew to young womanhood in this community and on October 13, 1909 was married to Mr. Wilhelm Logemann in the parental home in Bennington, Nebraska.

Mrs. Logemann was baptized and confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church near Bennington in 1931. Later she transferred her membership to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington.

The deceased, with her husband, farmed just south of Bennington until their retirement about twenty years ago. They retired to a farm place near there and on the first of June, 1961, moved to their present home on 60th Avenue.

After an illness of several months duration, she died Tuesday, September 4, at the age of 71 years. About three years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Logemann celebrated their golden wedding.

Funeral services were held Thursday, September 6.

She is survived by her husband, Wilhelm Logemann; two sons, Russell of Omaha and Lester of Bennington; one daughter, Mrs. Lorene Andersen of Kennard; one sister, Mrs. Alma Friedreichsen of Kennard; nine grandchildren; and also many other relatives and friends.
