HENRY LOGEMAN BURIED MARCH 22ND

Henry Wilhelm Logeman, son of Fred and Leana (Martin) Logeman was born Jebruary 3, 1889 at Bennington, Nebraska. He was baptized in the Christian Faith and a member of the third Confirmation class at St. John’s Lutheran Church where he confirmed his faith April 5, 1903.

Henry attended school in District 40. He spent his younger years in Montana and Canada and later returned to Bennington. He retired to the Nelson, Nebraska Rest Home. Later he moved to the High rise Apartments in Fremont, and recently he lived in the Fremont Care Center. He passed away March 18th, at the age of 87 years.

Henry was united in marriage to Janet Biggar in Canada in 1917. Two daughters were born to this union. Following Janet’s death, he married Elizabeth Biggar in 1924.

He is preceded in death by Janet and Elizabeth, and daughter Lena, who died in 1943.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Isobell (Mrs. Joe Czajkowski) of Orlando, Florida; 1 sister, Ann (Mrs. Matt Neu) of Elkhorn, Nebraska; 1 brother, John of Omaha; 3 grandsons and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services were held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington on Monday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Norman Schroeder officiating. Mrs. Henry Kniep was organist and Mrs. Gerry Johnson was soloist.

Casketbearers were Lowell Neumeyer; Paul Pooley; Greg Pooley; Henry Kruse; Mel Bunz; and Fred Nelson.

Interment was in the Flower Hill Cemetery with Hadan Golden Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
