Services for Edna A. Hilgenkamp, 81, of Fremont who died February 5, 1992 at St. Frances Memorial Hospital in West Point, Nebraska were Saturday, February 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev. Donald Levenhagen officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Edna A. Hilgenkamp was born March 20, 1910 in Rosebud, Missouri to Henry and Emma Wehmeyer Heidbrink. She grew up and lived there until moving to Nebraska in 1930.

She farmed on the family farm north of Arlington until moving into Fremont in 1960. She was then employed with Memorial Hospital of Dodge County until retiring.

She lived at Stanton Tower in Fremont before moving to the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner 14 months ago.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

She married Martin Hilgenkamp December 25, 1930 north of Arlington. He preceded her in death in August, 1986.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Mrs. Ray) Hula of Fremont; a son, Dallas of Uehling; three brothers, Arnold and Edwin, both of Rosebud and Daniel of Beaufort, Missouri; four sister, Laura (Mrs. Lamar) Polm, Mary Heidbrink and Delores (Mrs. Eugene) Brandt, all of Rosebud and Ruth (Mrs. Arnold) Schmidt of Union, Missouri; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

A memorial has been established to the church.

Ludvigsen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
