Frieda Hilgenkamp, 95, of Fremont died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998, at Arbor Manor in Fremont.
Services will be held Friday, Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. David Loeschen will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Mortuary on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., and at the church Friday morning for an hour before service time.
Frieda Hilgenkamp was born March 4, 1903, to Herman and Louisa (Vieselmeier) Hilgenkamp on a farm near Arlington. She moved to Fremont in 1930 and lived with her sisters, Ida and Elsie. She was employed by the former Herman Peterson Clothiers and by the Hammond Stephens Co.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She participated in the church’s Ladies Aid, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and was a long time Sunday school superintendent.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
