SERVICES HELD FOR R. LORENZEN

Rudolph Lorenzen died April 9 in Wayne.

Rudolph Lorenzen, the son of Johannes and Augusta Kohrt Lorenzen, was born May 6, 1911 in Wayne County, Nebraska. He married Alta Caroline Blecke on September 20, 1926 at Yankton, South Dakota. The couple farmed until 1949 and had lived in the Wayne and Wakefield communities since. He had made his home at the Wayne Care Center the past 1 1/2 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two brothers.

Survivors include one son, Richard of Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska; two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Donna) Roeber of Wayne and Mrs. Lester (Anita) Paulson of Hubbard, Nebraska; one brother, August of Wayne; his mother-in-law, Ella Blecke of Wayne; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
