Helen Lucille (Mets) Hillers, 83, of Blair died on May 21, 2000 at Memorial Community Hospital.

Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Helen was born on May 2, 1917 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a homemaker and an accomplished artist in oil and water-colors, and did many paintings for friends and family.

Survivors include daughters Louella Kulhanek and husband Dennis of Madison, Wis., and Margee Hiykel and husband Fay of Blair, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, a brother, Ralph Mets of Fremont, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, her parents, James and Luella Mets, a daughter, Linda Condon, three brothers, James, Charles and John Mets, and a sister, Margaret Nelson.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
