J. P. LONG IS DEAD

Last Friday, a week ago today, J. P. Long, one of the homesteaders 45 years ago in the Sheridan township, passed away at the age of 83 years. He was a native of Pennsylvania. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church at Admah last Sunday, the Methodist minister from Craig preaching the funeral sermon, the other services being conducted by the members of the Craig Masonic lodge, of which he was a member. His wife died two years ago and of the five children born to them only two, a son, Hayes, and a daughter, Lillian, survive, both living at home.
