Donald C. Hillman, 79, of Modale, Iowa, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at his home.
Services were Monday, Oct. 11 at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. Pastor Ron Wymer officiated. Military honors at the graveside were conducted by the American Legion of Modale, Iowa. Burial was in the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Iowa.
Donald C. Hillman was born June 1, 1920 in Mondamin, Iowa, to Hugh C. and Lena (Zaiser) Hillman. He graduated from the Modale High School in 1938. He served in the Air Force during WWII and he farmed in the Modale area for many years. He was also a member of the Modale American Legion.
He is survived by a sister, Enid Hale of Blair; a brother, Oral Hillman of Modale, Iowa; six nieces; one nephew; and great nieces and nephews.
Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
