ORANGE HILSINGER, ONCE OF HERMAN, DIED TUESDAY

Orange Hilsinger, a police officer at Herman, Nebraska for many years, died at his home in Omaha, Tuesday, September 5th. He was 80 years old. The Hilsingers have been living at 8511 North 29th Street, Omaha, since leaving Herman a number of years ago.

He was born at Herman May 19th and grew to manhood there.

Mr. Hilsinger is survived by his wife, Cora and by one sister, Mrs. Clarence W. Stokes, of Maxbass, North Dakota. There were no children.

Funeral services will be held at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock P.M. and interment will be made in the Herman Cemetery.

Orange L. Hilsinger was born on May 19, 1881 at Herman, Nebraska, and departed this life at his home, 8511 No. 29th St., Omaha, Nebr., on Sept. 5, 1961 at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 16 days.

On May 22, 1909 he was united in marriage to Cora Stokes. In 1959 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

Mr. Hilsinger leaves to mourn him his wife, Cora; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Stokes of Maxbass, North Dakota; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Rev. William G. Kaiser, Florence Presbyterian Church of Omaha officiated at the service held at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. Interment was in Herman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Hugelman, Henry Truhlsen, Fern West, Gilbert Potadle, Wilbur Lowe, Earl Reid.

Out-of-town people attending the services included Mrs. Hilsinger's sisters, Minnie Stokes and Mrs. Jack (Maude) Ballard of Bowbells, North Dakota, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Stokes and Mrs. Pauline Gibson of Missouri Valley, Iowa.
