Marie L. Thorson, 52, of Kennard, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, after battling complications due to calciphylaxis.

Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 14, in the Kennard Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday May 16, at Christ Community Covenant in Owatonna, Minn.

Marie Leslie Thorson was born on July 2, 1957, in Owatonna, to Leslie and Mildred Thorson. She attended school and graduated from Owatonna High School. She worked many years at Truth and most recently at SPX before moving to Nebraska.

She is survived by her mother, Mildred Thorson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie and Micah Lynn, and Mary and Mark Ulman; her fiance, Eric Gamble, and his parents, Bill and Joyce Smith; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Thorson.

Memorials may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation.
