G. Blankenbeckler Rites Wednesday

Glenn Everett Blankenbeckler, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Blankenbeckler, was born on a farm south of Tekamah, Nebraska, on August 2, 1913. He passed away at a rest home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska on last Sunday morning April 26, 1964. He was 50 years of age at the time of his passing.

He spent the early years of his life in the Tekamah community, moving later to Omaha and then to California. Due to ill health he came back to Nebraska a few years ago, living for a while in Blair and then making his home at the rest home in Plattsmouth the last three years.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Richard Blankenbeckler. He is survived by three sisters; Mrs. Wesley (Betty) Drummond, Long Beach, California; Mrs. Wilbur (Dorothy) Buss, Truth or Consequences , New Mexico; Mrs. Simon (Virginia) Korshoj, Blair, Nebr.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Hamel and Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah. Rev. Dale Westadt, of Blair, officiated. Music was furnished by Mr. Homer Nielsen, accompanied by Dr. Paul Neve.
