T.P. Blankenbeckler was taken with a paralytic stroke last Friday evening at about 5:30 and died Saturday evening at about the same time, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Thompson.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Tekamah from the Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Blankenbeckler was born in Virginia and came here many years ago and has lived near Tekamah for several years past. He was 70 years of age, and had he lived until October 15th, he would have been 71 years old.

He leaves several sons, one Almo, of Bellingham, Washington and the Blankenbeckler boys of Tekamah. The daughters are Mrs. Dan and Mrs. William Thompson of Blair; Mrs. W. Taylor, of Chapel, Nebraska, Mrs. Everett Devinney of Valroa, Montana and Mrs. Ed Bunting, of Tekamah. Also two sisters, Mrs. Jenny Bishop of Spokane, Washington and Mrs. Fannie Copenhaver of Virginia and a brother, D.J. Blankenbeckler also of Virginia also survives.

T. P. BLANKENBECKLER DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER

T. P. Blankenbeckler died last Friday evening at the home of his daughter Mrs. Will Thompson, after suffering a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Blankenbeckler recently returned from the Pacific coast, where he had spent the past several years, to make his home with his children in Burt and Washington counties and was visiting with friends on the streets of Blair a short time before his death. Besides a host of friends Mr. Blankenbeckler leaves a large family of grown children to mourn his sudden demise: Lilbern of Sterling, Colo., Jack of Omaha, Richard, James, Herbert and Mrs. Bertha Devinney of Tekamah, Mrs. Everett Devinney of Valier, Mont., Mrs. Lillie Taylor of Chappel, Nebr., Elmo of Belmar, Neb., Archie of Norfolk, and Mrs. Dan Thompson and Mrs. Will Thompson of Blair.

Funeral services were held at the Will Thompson home at 12:30 today and at 2:00 o’clock at Tekamah, where interment was made. All of the twelve children were in attendance.

Mr. Blankenbeckler was born in Virginia and was about 72 years of age.
