ONE-TIME BLAIR WOMAN IS DEAD

Mrs. Edith Pearl (Dixon) Lorraine passed away August 9 in Los Angeles, California at the home of her daughter, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Effie and Earl Dixon of Blair and was born and raised in Blair. Following graduation from Blair High School she taught in a rural school and was then married in Washington County.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard Miller, Carter Lake, Iowa; Mrs. Arcy De Lapp, Repford, Montana; Mrs. Daryl Hanson, Los Angeles, California; seven granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Della Steed, Mrs. Lena Aye, both of Kansas City, Missouri; Miss Fayme Dixon of New York City; Mrs. Carolyn Quattrocchi of Stryker, Montana; Miss June Dixon of Portland, Oregon; three brothers, Richard Dixon of Corona, California; Louis and Willard Dixon addresses unknown.

The funeral was August 13 in the Chapel of John A. Gentleman Mortuary in Omaha. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
