GEORGE HINDLEY DIED AT FREMONT EARLY SATURDAY

George Hindley, lifetime resident of Washington County and the Blair vicinity, died at the Dodge County Community Hospital in Fremont early Saturday. He was 73 years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Hindley had lived at 2103 Washington Street in Blair.

He was born December 28, 1896 on the family farm south of Blair. He was raised on a farm and he continued to farm until about a year ago when he retired and moved to Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys and by a son, Lyle, who farms in the Herman area.

There are also two daughters, Mrs. Walter Schlichting (Lorraine) of Beatrice, Nebr. and Mrs. Robert Henderson (Margaret) of Des Moines. There are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A brother, Leon Hindley, lives at Blair. There are four sisters who survive his death. They are Mrs. Leslie Frazeur, of Grants Pass, Oregon; Mrs. Myron Brock, of Beltsville, Maryland; Mrs. Lillian Chapman, of Sunland, California and Mrs. Helen Happel, of Tilden, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the First United Methodist Church.
