U.S. Navy Veteran

Donald G. Butts, 91, of Omaha died Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m.

Donald G. Butts was born April 16, 1919, in Walthill to Carroll and Faye (Twiford) Butts. He was a graduate of Walthill High School.

He served in the United States Navy during WWII.

On July 16, 1948, he married June Neuman in Ashland.

He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife, June; daughter, Victoria Butts of Lincoln; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles.
