Services for Duane L. Hindmarsh, 63, of Arlington, who died Thursday, December 11, 1986, at the Skilled Care Center, Memorial Hospital in Fremont, were held December 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Arlington Community Church. Rev. Robert B. Saunders officiated and burial was in the Arlington Cemetery. Masonic services were held December 14, at Reckmeyer-Moser funeral Home.

Hindmarsh was born December 25, 1922, the son of Clyde and Josephine Hindmarsh of rural Fremont. He farmed east of Fremont until 1968 when he moved to Arlington. He retired from farming in 1981.

He maried Merle Wieser on February 1, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Survivors include his wife of Arlington; two stepsons: Don Wieser of Huntington Beach, California and James Wieser of Thailand; one brother, Keith of Fremont; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers were Robert French, Ed Christensen, Ray Scheer, Melvin Sorensen, Dean Hoffman and Howard Scheer.

Organist was Mrs. Ruby House and soloist was Melvin Misfeldt.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home of Arlington was in charge of arrangements.
