Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 10 at Arlington Community Church in Arlington for Merle M. Hindmarsh, 72, of Fremont and formerly of Arlington, who died January 6, 1990 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Rev. Robert Saunders is officiating. Interment is in the Arlington Cemetery.

Merle M. Hindmarsh was born December 6, 1917 at Turin, Iowa. She moved from Iowa to Arlington at the age of 12 and lived in the Arlington area since that time.

She married Harold Wieser in 1935. He preceded her in death in August, 1965. She married Duane L. Hindmarsh February 1, 1968 at Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1986.

She was a member of Arlington Community Church in Arlington.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Olga Mullum Davis and her grandson Joel Wieser.

She is survived by two sons, Don Wieser of Gainsville, Georgia and James Wieser of Germantown, Tennessee; a brother, Russell Davis of Lakewood, California; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Ed Christensen, Dean Hoffman, Darrell Connick, Bob French, George Haney and Howard Scheer.

Ruby House is organist. Melvin Misfeldt is soloist.

Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Association or the Arlington Community Church.

Reckmemer-Moser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
