Monte Mead, 78, was born July 13, 1938, and passed December 21, 2016.

Monte was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Christi Nielsen. He is survived by his wife, Jane Mead; daughters, Melinda Mead, Andrea (Glen) McNeilley; son-in-law, Kim Nielsen; grandchildren: Andrew Nielsen, Joshua Smith, Cass (Jake) Vance, Henry Chambers, Joey Chambers, Connor and Ian Willingham; brother, Don (Lucy) Mead; sisters, June (Bill) Hansen and Pam (Hal) Hoff; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 31 at Dundee Presbyterian Church 5312 Underwood Avenue, Omaha. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Dundee Presbyterian Church, Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
