Kevin E. Jones of Crofton, Nebraska died January 2, 2017, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, South Dakota.

Kevin was born on December 8, 1961, in Blair, Nebraska to Herbert Jr. and Joan (Siegler) Jones. Kevin attended and graduated from Blair High School. After high school, he worked as an electrician. Later in life, he moved to Crofton, where he liked to fish, hunt, and run the river.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Joan (Ryan) Walker of Caroline County, Virginia; brother, Herbert (Brenda) Jones III of Johnstown, Colorado; sister, Debra (Sergio) Lareza of Stafford, Virginia; nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
