HISLOP-SHANKS-Velma L., age 87, of Omaha. Survived by sons, Bernard Hislop, Blair, NE, Cecil and Bonnie Hislop, Grand island, NE; daughters, Francine and Noble Trusler, Violet and Keith Soule; sisters, Lena Adams, Mae Wallen, all Omaha, NE; brother, Les Stienblock, Council Bluffs, IA; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; countless relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Harm and Myrtle Stienblock; husbands, Bernard Hislop and Delbert Shanks; grandson , Edward Soule. Employed at Florence Drug for 22 years and member of V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Funeral Service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Roeder Mortuary, 108th St Chapel. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials American Cancer Society. Visitation with family 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mortuary.
