Betty L. (Baxter) Tuttle, 89, of Rockwell City, Iowa, formerly of Blair, died Jan. 18, 2017, in Rockwell City, Iowa. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Orum, Nebraska.

Betty L. Tuttle was born on July 31, 1927, in Blair to LeRoy and Margaret Baxter. She was raised in Blair and graduated from Blair High School. When Betty was 19, she married Vern Tuttle and were blessed with four children.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Vern; granddaughter Crystal Peters; brother Bill Baxter; sisters Dorothy Baxter and Iris Hewitt.

She is survived by her four children; Cheryl Bell, Patricia Garretson, John Tuttle and James (Sandra) Tuttle; sisters Maxine (Bob) Lange, Marjorie Tuveson; 10 grandchildren, many great and great-great-grandchildren.
