An Fort Calhoun man involved in a two-vehicle accident last week has died.

Capt. Shawn Thallas of the Washington County Sheriff's Office said Richard Walentine, 85, died Monday at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha.

Washington County Attorney Scott Vander Schaaf said an autopsy was not ordered because Walentine's death was not attributed to the crash.

Walentine, driving a 2012 Acura MDX, was pulling out of his driveway at 4250 County Road P43 on Jan. 19 when it was struck by a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by David G. Stevens of Fort Calhoun. Walentine and Marylyn Walentine were transported with minor injuries to CHI Health Immanuel Hospital. Richard was later transported to Nebraska Medicine, where he died.
