Nora Echtenkamp, 89, of Fremont, died Saturday at Arbor Manor April 11, 1986.

Mrs. Echtenkamp was born November 24, 1896, in Omaha. She was raised in the Orum and Kennard areas. She then lived on a farm outside Arlington from 1915 until 1944, when she moved to Fremont.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She married John Echtenkamp January 8, 19115, in Arlington. He died April 9, 1963.

Survivors include four sons, Dale of Fremont, Harlan of Weston, Connecticut, Lyle of Humbolt, Tennessee and Alan of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two daughters, Mrs. Violet Kull of Fremont and Mrs. Obert (Norma) Laaker of Bennington; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Craig Schultz will officiate. Visitation was at Lattin Dugan and Chambers Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church Daily Chapel. Burial was in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery at Arlington.
