Services for Mrs. David Bloch Were Held on Monday

Services for Mrs. David Bloch were held on Monday July. Mrs. Bloch died on Thursday, June 27th following illness and surgery. Services were held at the Arlington Community Church with Rev. Bryce Hecht officiating. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery with Reckmeyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

She was born June 28, 1901 in Tilden and moved to Fremont as a young girl. She attended Wesleyan University and was a member of Delta Phi Sorority. Mrs. Bloch was also a member of Serpta Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Arlington American Legion Auxiliary, Dodge County Medical Auxiliary No. 48 and Arlington Community Church. The former Mabel Eickhoff, she married Dr. David Bloch June 24, 1925, at Fremont. They lived in Cedar Bluffs for one year before moving to Arlington in 1926.

Survivors include her widower; son, Dr. Dean Bloch, Arlington; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial has been established for the Intensive Care ward at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

Pallbearers were Howard Edmondson, Lloyd Marshall, Gerald Russell, Dr. Lauren Spangler, Dr. Jack Cady, and Leroy Brown.

Mrs. Charles House was organist.
