Anna Marie Toft Block

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Poulson returned yesterday from attending the funeral of Mrs. Poulson’s mother, Mrs. Anna Marie Toft Block, whose death occurred April 11th at Lewellen, Neb., of heart trouble, following the “flu”.

She was born in Omaha, Neb., February 7th, 1870, so was 54 years old past. She married J.H. Block at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Orum on August 6th 1890, and seven children were born to them, two of whom died in infancy.

She is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs. N. Martin Poulson, of Orum, Mrs. Andrew McCoy, John W. Block, Jr., Clara and Hensel Block, all of Lewellen. Her aged mother, Mrs. Otto Nelson, lives in this city. She leaves, also one brother, Peter Toft, of Fremont and two half-brothers, J.T. Nelson and Chris Nelson, both of Blair.
