Max Block, 78, of Omaha, died July 24, 2006 in Omaha.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Omaha. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 27 at the church.
Max Block was born March 8, 1928 in Mondamin, Iowa, to Herman and Carrie Block.
He worked as a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary, of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law Capt. Douglas and Bonnie Block of Chesapeake, VA; daughter and son-in-law, Ken and Rita Smock of Blair; step-daughter and son-in-law, Debby and Dennis Ulak of Houston, Texas; and step-son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Angie Chaffin of Landenberg, PA; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
