FORMER BLAIR LADY DIES IN WASHINGTON

Mrs. Clarence Arnold received word of the death of her sister, Mrs. Lillian Hjeldgaard of Spokane, Washington on May 5th. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Stevens and was born January, 1909. She graduated from Blair High School in 1926.

She was married November 28, 1928 to Otto Hjeldgaard of Tekamah, Nebraska. She is survived by her husband, two sons, five grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Four sisters, Mrs. Helen Arnold, Blair, Nebraska, Alice Bassett, Oak Harbor, Washington, Clarice Whitaker, Omaha, Nebraska, Elsie Chard, Lyons, Nebraska and two brothers, William Stevens, Omaha and Arthur Stevens of New Jersey.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and past Worthy Matron of her Eastern Star Chapter in Spokane. Burial services were held May 7, 1979 in Spokane.
